Watch a video of a recent tourJohn Tregellas grew up in England, where he studied French, German and Czech. He came to Prague after the Velvet Revolution of 1989 on the advice of a Czech friend who told him „anything is possible here now“, and never found a good reason for leaving. After a couple of years spent working for Czechoslovak national radio, he set up The Prague Concert Co. in 1994 to facilitate concert touring projects for visiting musical ensembles. In his free time, John enjoys Prague’s rich musical life, playing the piano and singing with the Kühn Choir of Prague. He also likes cycling and mountain walking through the beautiful Czech countryside. John has travelled extensively in Central and Eastern Europe and is a particular fan of the region’s excellent rail networks.
